# RIA was accepted into Anthropic's partner training program

**On September 24, 2026, RIA, the company behind Briefing Jurídico and Lia, was accepted into the partner training program of Anthropic, the company that makes Claude. The next step is to certify our team at the Anthropic Partner Academy.** For law firms, this means Lia will be implemented by people who learn straight from the source of the model she uses. For firms already working with Lia, nothing changes in the contract or the account.

Today more than 100 legal professionals use Lia every day: lawyers and the teams at their firms.

## Why this matters now

Artificial intelligence at the law firm has moved from experiment to operations. The client writes at 10 p.m., the deadline does not wait and the invoice cannot go out wrong. For an AI to take on this work, three things need to be true at the same time:

- **Follow the house rules.** "Deadlines only with the lawyer." "Billing only after checking the amount." Lia follows the firm's playbook even when the client insists.
- **Know when to stop.** When in doubt, she hands the decision back to whoever can make it. At a law firm, waiting a minute costs less than making up an answer.
- **Operate the tools.** She opens the CRM, issues the invoice, drafts the contract and books the meeting.

These three things are where Claude does well, and that is why Lia was built on it. Training our team straight at the source is what lets us bring each advance in Claude to your firm as soon as it arrives.

## What changes for your firm

- **The people who implement learn at the source.** The team that configures Lia at your firm will be trained and certified through the Anthropic Partner Academy, Anthropic's school for those who implement Claude at other organizations.
- **Advances arrive faster.** When Claude gains a new capability, we learn to use it from the people who built it, and it reaches Lia without delay.
- **Nothing changes in your contract.** Price, roles, integrations and payment method stay as they are.

The Claude account remains the firm's own: **contracted under the firm's CNPJ (its Brazilian company registration number), directly with Anthropic, by subscription or by API, with no markup from RIA.** The invoice is issued in the firm's name, and the account belongs to the firm in any situation.

## How Lia uses Claude

::: infografico lia-camadas-en

Lia is organized in three layers. On top is your firm, with WhatsApp and the tools it already uses, such as AdvBox, Projuris, Astrea and Asaas (Brazilian legal practice and billing platforms), among the 30 integrations. In the middle is Lia, with the house rules, the five roles (intake, administrative assistant, billing assistant, drafter and controller), the memory of each client and the lawyer's approval for anything sensitive. At the bottom is Claude, which understands, decides and writes.

Everything about how Lia works with Claude is at [lia.im/claude](https://lia.im/claude/).

## What the firm pays

| What the firm pays for | To whom | How it is billed |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Claude by subscription (login) | Anthropic, directly | Fixed amount per person, the same every month |
| Claude by API | Anthropic, directly | By usage, following the firm's volume |
| Lia monthly fee | RIA | Implementation, integrations, the firm's rules, maintenance and support |

With the API option the amount varies with usage; the account is contracted and paid directly to Anthropic, at its current pricing, and the firm sets the spending limits on its own account. Lia's prices are at [lia.im/precos](https://lia.im/precos.html).

## Frequently asked questions

### What is Anthropic's partner training program?

It is the program in which Anthropic, the maker of Claude, trains companies to implement Claude at other organizations. Upon acceptance, RIA gained access to the Anthropic Partner Academy, with training tracks and proctored certification exams. Our team will be trained and certified there.

### What changes for firms already using Lia?

Nothing in the contract or the account. Price, roles, integrations and payment method stay the same. What changes is the training of the people who implement and maintain Lia, and how fast Claude's new features reach your firm.

### Do I need to contract Claude separately?

Yes. The account sits under the firm's CNPJ, contracted directly with Anthropic, by login subscription or by API. During implementation we assess which format makes the most sense for your volume and walk you through the sign-up step by step.

### Is my firm's data used to train the AI?

It depends on how the firm contracts the account. On individual subscription plans (Free, Pro and Max), governed by Anthropic's Consumer Terms (in effect since October 8, 2025), Anthropic may use conversations to train its models unless the account holder turns this option off in the account settings; even with the option off, submitted feedback and content flagged for safety review may be used. On the Team and Enterprise plans and on API access, governed by Anthropic's Commercial Terms (in effect since June 17, 2025), Anthropic does not train models on customer content. Under any option, RIA does not use the firm's data to train models (Lia Terms of Use, clause 6.10). During implementation, we guide the account setup as professional confidentiality requires.

### What if I want to stop using Lia?

No lock-in: you cancel whenever you want. The Claude account is yours and stays yours.
