# You can now request document signatures right from Claude **Lawyers and any business can now request document signatures right from Claude. Just connect RIA Sign (MCP), published in Claude's official connectors directory, by searching for RIA.** Published on October 7, 2026, as a community connector, **RIA Sign is the first Brazilian electronic signature platform in Claude's official connectors directory.** Anyone using Claude (in the browser, in the desktop app or in Claude Code) can now send documents for electronic signature over WhatsApp without leaving the conversation. If something is wrong, you fix it right there, before it reaches the client. ::: ## How signers receive it The signer doesn't need an account or an app. They receive the document on WhatsApp and sign in WhatsApp itself or on a page opened on their phone. When you ask for it, the signature includes a selfie and a photo of the signer's ID document. **Signature requests are sent from RIA Sign's official number.** If you prefer, you can connect your law firm's or company's WhatsApp Business number to your account in the RIA Sign dashboard and start sending from your own number. ## Legal validity and ICP-Brasil The signature is electronic, simple or advanced, under Brazilian Law No. 14,063/2020 and Provisional Measure No. 2,200-2/2001. Every completed document comes with a certificate page, an audit trail, a timestamp (RFC 3161) and a public link anyone can use to check its authenticity. Also through Claude: anyone who already has their own ICP-Brasil certificate (a cloud e-CPF, the digital certificate tied to a Brazilian taxpayer ID) signs at the qualified level in the same flow, at no extra charge. ICP-Brasil is Brazil's public key infrastructure, the official chain that issues legally recognized digital certificates. On top of that, the completed document receives **RIA's ICP-Brasil Integrity Seal**: a signature made with the company's ICP-Brasil certificate, which makes it possible to prove the file has not been altered since it was completed. That is why it can be checked in the Brazilian federal government's official validator, **[validar.iti.gov.br](https://validar.iti.gov.br)**. The seal attests that the document has not been altered.
